Happy New Year, everyone! 2026 has finally arrived.
Up here in the north, my year always starts with a relentless battle against the snow. I spend 2 to 3 hours every day with my snowblower—it's so physically demanding that I'm completely wiped out for hours afterward. But in between those sessions, I’ve been pouring my heart into a new project.
I have to be honest with you. Since releasing my craft tool, "Filamenta Slit," last November, it simply will not sell. I've realized that simple photos and basic clips fail to convey its true value or justify its price. It’s only natural that people would choose other, cheaper products if they can’t see what makes this one special.
So, I’ve decided to dive into the unknown world of video production. But here’s the thing: my own rough hands and voice just don't fit the "cute and stylish" vibe of the handicraft world. If I try to talk about elegance with my own fingers in the frame, it just feels insincere.
I needed a representative who could truly do justice to the product. After much thought, I’ve decided to use a "character" as my avatar.
To be blunt, I have no budget for this. It’s a decision that puts me deep in the red right at the start of the year. But I am willing to take that risk because I believe so strongly in the quality of this tool.
We are currently in the thick of production. I’m giving this everything I’ve got.
